The fine print, in plain language

Terms & Conditions

The ground rules between you and The Virtualizers. No buried traps, no lawyer fog — what we deliver, what we need from you, and what happens if either side walks away.

Effective date: September 28, 2026

1. Who we are

The Virtualizers is a virtual assistant agency. We pair businesses with trained virtual assistants — we call them Virtualizers — who take over operational work: inbox, calendar, CRM, research, travel, expenses, and executive support.

When you hire us, you are engaging The Virtualizers as a service provider, not employing an individual. Your dedicated Virtualizer works under our supervision, on our playbooks, and under our quality controls.

2. What we deliver

Our services are described on our Territories page. The scope of your engagement — the exact tasks we take over — is agreed with you before work starts and recorded in your engagement summary.

Work outside the agreed scope is not owed by default. We are happy to expand the mission, but it is agreed first, in writing, not assumed.

We commit to the standard of work we advertise: tasks handled, tested, and caught before they cost you. We do not promise specific business outcomes such as revenue, growth, or savings figures — no honest operator can.

3. What we need from you

Access. We can only hold the line on accounts and tools you actually grant us access to — email, calendar, CRM, and whatever else your scope covers.

Information. Decisions that only you can make need to come back to us in reasonable time. If a task waits on you, the clock is on your side, not ours.

Lawful use. You may not use our services for anything illegal, deceptive, or abusive, and you may not ask a Virtualizer to impersonate a licensed professional such as a lawyer, accountant, or doctor.

4. Engagements, billing, and payment

Services are sold as monthly plans at flat prices, published on our homepage. Billing is monthly, in advance.

Your first invoice is due before work begins. Subsequent invoices are due on the same date each month. If a payment fails, we will tell you plainly and pause service after a reasonable grace period.

Plan changes take effect at your next billing cycle unless we agree otherwise. We do not lock you into long-term contracts; either side can end the engagement as described in section 8.

5. Confidentiality

Everything you share with us to get the work done — credentials, contacts, financials, plans, client information — is confidential. Our Virtualizers are bound by confidentiality obligations, and we only share your information inside the team on a need-to-know basis.

We will not sell, rent, or disclose your information to third parties except where the work requires it (for example, booking a flight with an airline on your instruction) or where the law compels it.

You own your data. On request, we will return or delete the working materials we hold for you.

6. Data and account access

You remain the owner and controller of your accounts. We act in them on your instruction, and we follow your documented preferences for anything that touches your clients, your money, or your reputation.

Credentials you share with us are handled with care: stored securely, shared only with the Virtualizer assigned to you, and changed or revoked by you at any time.

We follow industry-standard practices to protect data in our hands, but no system is unbreakable. If something goes wrong on our side, we will tell you what happened, what we know, and what we are doing about it.

7. Intellectual property

Work we produce for you under an active engagement — documents, reports, spreadsheets, drafts, playbooks built around your business — belongs to you.

Our own methods, templates, playbooks, brand, and materials remain ours. We may reuse our general know-how; we will never resell your confidential information.

8. Ending the engagement

Either side can end a monthly plan with written notice before the next billing date. You will not be charged for a month you are not using.

When an engagement ends, we hand over cleanly: we stop work at the agreed date, return your materials, and hand back account access instructions. We do not hold your accounts hostage.

9. Liability

We work carefully and we test our work, but we are not insurers of your business. To the fullest extent the law allows, The Virtualizers is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profits, lost deals, lost opportunities — arising from our services.

Our total liability for any claim connected to the services is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects an active engagement, we will tell you before it applies.

Continuing to use the services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms, your engagement, or anything else: email us at support@virtualizers.io. A human reads it.
